Span of Empty Set

This is: $span(\varnothing )=\{\overrightarrow{0}\}$ by definition. This is because we want to be able to add spanning sets. ${\sum }_{A\cup B}={\sum }_A+{\sum }_B$ and have a spanning set be $\overrightarrow{0}$
