  1. Open vs code
  2. New empty project
  3. Create a .asm file
  4. Right Click project > build dependencies > build customizations
  5. Enable masm
  6. Right Click .asm file > Properties > general > Item type
  7. Change item type to Microsoft Macro Assembler
