- Find the Eigenvalues of the matrix
- Note down the Algebraic Multiplicity for each eigenvalue, this is how big your jordan box will be
- For each eigenvalue, find the basis vectors for the kernels. This will allow you to find Geometric Multiplicity. This is the structure of 1’s in your jordan box.
