Even And Odd Function Decomposition

Every function $f(x)$ can be decomposed into an even part and an odd part:

• $f_{even}(x)=\frac{f(x)+f(-x)}{2}$
• $f_{odd}(x)=\frac{f(x)-f(-x)}{2}$ And $f(x)=f_{odd}(x)+f_{even}(x)$

This is important for understanding that $e^x=\cosh x\sinh x$
