Connect it to the PSU, then turn the switch to ‘O’ to turn the machine on. If the power didn’t go out that is… then it would be flipped. The 3 holes are hot, neutral and ground. Hot wire carries voltage Neutral wire carries electricity back to wall plug and to breaker panel. Ground wire makes excess electricity return to ground. You should always test your wall plug with a Multimeter to see what voltage it takes
