An adoption of the Integration by Substitution for Chain Rule specifically.

Theorem

1. If $\int f(g(x))g^{\prime }(x)dx$ is continuous on its interval, then
2. $\int f(g(x))g^{\prime }(x)dx=\int f(u)du$ where $u=g(x)$
