• Dissertation is daunting But:

1. Youre confident you want to do a PhD
2. You know that countervailing evidence wont tell conclusively against a PhD
3. Costly to gather more evidence, as the only way to do so is to spend more years in a masters program Then, by this you are rationally permitted to tale a risk on doing a PhD
