A paradox that involves the ambiguity of terms. In contrast to The Ship of Theseus

Paradox

1. You have a heap of sand
2. You remove grains from the heap
3. At what point does the heap cease to be a heap?

Square Version

1. There are 1000 squares that gradually shift from red to yellow
2. Square 1 is red
3. Square 1000 is yellow
4. Square n+1 is indistinguishable from square n
5. Thus, following Induction, we can say square 1000 is yellow
