Recursive Formula for Determinant

If $M=[m_{ij}]\in M_{n\times n}(\mathbb{R})$ and $1\le i\le n$ Then, $\det (M)={\sum }_{j=1}^n(-1{)}^{i+j}{m}_{ij}\det (M_{ij})$
