A bus that supports both SATA and PCIe storage devices.
Replaces the SATA link and transport layers with the PCIe version. The bus can carry up to 2000 MBps.
SATAe is forwards compatable with SATA. You can plug in SATA into SATAe. But, you need a SATAe compatable motherboard to use SATAe.
