A guaranteed payment that ensures minimum income necessary to survive regardless of technical skill or current employment level.
Ontario Basic Income Pilot (OBIP)
This was a campaign started in 2017 as an experiment to see if UBI is a valid solution. Each participant would recieve 50 less for every hour they worked. It ended up being cancelled after the political party changed hands.
